I almost did not make this, but I'm soo glad I did. I've made this many times, even for a dinner party as a side dish for chicken saltimbocca, which also uses sage. Everyone loved it! This is a keeper. I made this with and without the celery. Both were really tasty.
I made this salad two days ahead of time. The flavors mixed well and the beans and veggies retained their texture. Served it to my book club on an Italian-themed night and had several asking for the recipe.
