Turkey Salad with Black Beans

  • 6 ounce ground, skinless turkey breast
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cups lettuce of choice
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 tomato (medium)
  • 1/4 red onion (small)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon low sodium salsa
  • 1/2 cup canned black beans, rinsed & drained
  • 1 tablespoon avocado

How to Make It

  1. In a non-stick skillet, brown ground turkey with taco seasoning mix until browned. Rinse, dry and tear lettuce into bite size pieces in a large salad bowl. Rinse and slice all vegetables and toss with lettuce. Mix drained beans with salsa. Top salad with cooked ground turkey, beans mixture, and chopped avocado. Enjoy.
