How to Make It

Step 1

Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add sausage, and sauté 8 minutes or until browned. Remove sausage from pan; cover and keep warm.

Step 2

Add onion to pan, and sauté 2 minutes. Stir in sauerkraut and remaining ingredients. Return sausage to pan; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Discard bay leaf.
