Loved I idea! Found it bland so added more spices to the meat; added Mc Cormick Chilli season package and found improved flavor. Not crazy for the cornbread so interested in changing that up too. This definetly has potential but needs a kick. Still served with cilantro to brighten flavor and hotsauce it was a good weekday meal.

Awesome recipe. I use a 2 premix cornbread packets, and garlic powder so I can use less. but upped the other spices a little. I added different types of beans, shredded squash, celery and bellpeppers. Took it to a Christmas potluck and it was a big hit. They didnt even know the vegies were in there, or that it was turkey.

I will definitely make this recipe again because of the convenience of the all-in-one slow cooker meal, plus it's a good way to substitute turkey for our usual ground beef without anyone noticing. It did get quite dry during cooking so I might add a little more broth next time. It's not the best chili I've ever tasted, but definitely enjoyable and a good dish to take to a potluck or just enjoy at home.
