Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground turkey
- Salt and pepper
- 1 red bell pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 3 scallions, white part only, chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 hamburger buns
Preparation
- Combine turkey, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Add bell pepper, thyme, scallions and oil and mix well. Form into 8 patties. Chill until ready to use. Prepare a charcoal fire or set a gas grill to medium-high. Cook burgers, turning once, until no longer pink in center, about 5 minutes per side. Serve on warm toasted buns.
