How to Make It

Step 1

Cook turkey and chopped onion in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes or until onion is tender and turkey is done, stirring until turkey crumbles. Stir in tomato sauce and red peppers; simmer 5 minutes.

Step 2

Stir in salt, pepper, and, if desired, liquid smoke. Spoon turkey mixture evenly onto bottom halves of rolls, and top with remaining roll halves.
