  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cognac or brandy
  • 1 3/4 cups dry white wine, chilled
  • 4 lemon slices
  • 4 lime slices
  • 4 orange slices
  • 1 (10-ounce) bottle club soda, chilled
  • Additional lemon, lime, and orange slices (optional)


  1. Combine the sugar and cognac in a 1-quart glass measure. Microwave at high 1 minute or until sugar dissolves, stirring after 30 seconds. Add wine and fruit slices; stir well. Cover and chill.
  2. To serve, add club soda, and stir gently. Serve with additional fruit slices, if desired.
