Nothing spells regret quite like a blue, tequila-based cocktail—am I right? But hey, sometimes, you’re just in that kind of mood (the kind of mood where you feel like trying to relive senior year spring break sounds like a really fun idea). So the next time one strikes, this margarita recipe is the quick and dirty fix you need. Best part is, this recipe for a single cocktail is very easily multiplied, so you can mix up a big blue batch for the whole squad to enjoy before hitting the pool.
1/2 teaspoon margarita salt
1/4 cup margarita mix
3 tablespoons (1 1/2 oz.) cheap tequila
2 tablespoons (1 oz.) blue Curaçao liqueur
How to Make It
Lightly coat rim of glass with margarita salt. Fill glass with ice.
Combine margarita mix, tequila, and blue Curaçao in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake vigorously until chilled, about 15 seconds. Strain into prepared glass.
