Tortellini with Ham and Peas

    Great tasting pasta recipe! I make this one on a regular basis. I also tried this with canned peas because I didn't have frozen (the frozen tastes better though) and I also switched the pasta and it came out as good.

    Loved it! I used regular tortellini instead of the refrigerated kind since it is cheaper. It makes a ton so there will be plenty of leftovers.

    I made this with leftover chopped ham from easter but I left out the peas, it tasted amazing! Even my two year old couldn't get enough! It would also be good with bacon as an easier version of carbonara. Enjoy!

    Very easy to make. I'd recommend using frozen peas as I used can peas and they turned the sauce green because they were already mushy. Will make again and maybe experiment with adding chicken.

    My husband and I really enjoyed this! I used frozen tortellini (Target brand, which was really tasty!) and I also used deli ham that I chopped up. I used a little extra Parmesan cheese and seasoned my cream sauce with some dried lemon peel, red pepper flakes, pepper and a tiny drizzle of olive oil (extra virgin of course). It was simple, quick and I will definitely be making this again!!

    Very rich flavor...I might add a little crushed red pepper to add a little more dimension next time. I used frozen tortellini since it was more economical and it turned out great!
