8 whole cloves
8 raisins
2 ounces rye whiskey
1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
Pinch of nutmeg
1 ounce boiling water
1 cinnamon stick


1. Insert cloves into raisins. Place in a heat-proof glass. Stir together rye whiskey, Simple Syrup, and pinch of nutmeg until blended, pour over raisins. Add 1 oz. boiling water. Stir gently using a cinnamon stick, and let stand 10 minutes. Pour into a brandy snifter.
