Tipsy Vanilla-Rum Sauce

- 1/2 cup firmly packed light or dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup vanilla-flavored rum
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, and stir in rum.
