This is one of my favorite ways to prepare green beans now -- only I use the pre-trimmed beans in the bag and just puncture the bag with a fork and microwave for 5 minutes in the bag. Then I pick up the recipe where you saute them in the butter with the thyme. The smokehouse almonds really are the secret ingredient here and lend a phenomenal flavor! I've served this at a family gathering and had multiple requests for the recipe. SO EASY and DELICIOUS!
