Total time 40 mins
Use these warm and toasty onions to top this Savory Pumpkin Spice Dutch Baby or any other dish that calls for a little something extra piled on top. These onions are supercharged with flavor during the roasting process while fresh sprigs of thyme deliver an earthy and pleasant taste. Roasting these onions is an easy task, simply combine the ingredients in baking dish and let the oven do the work.

  • 1 medium sweet onion, cut into 8 wedges
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 thyme sprigs
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

How to Make It

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350°
  •  Combine ingredients in a 11-inch x 7-inch baking dish with 1 Tbsp. water. Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 minutes or until onions are tender and lightly browned.
