This was solid for my dinner party and super-easy. I'll definitely make again. One lesson: remove from the oven after 30 minutes. I kept it in around 45 minutes (waiting for other recipes to finish), and lost a bit of the creaminess of the alfredo sauce.

It could use a little extra salt, if you're a salt-a-holic (which I am). This is great on it's own, but would be great with other added ingredients- shrimp, chicken, veggies, etc.

This is a quick and tasty go-to meal. We call this "white ziti" in our house and my husband requests it from time to time.

I totally agree with other reviewers, this meal was so bland! The ricotta mixture had a strange gross texture. My boyfriend and I usually rave over 4 star recipes, but this is one that we will never make again.

Agree with other reviewer that as written it is bland, even when using sun-dried tomato alfredo and grilled seasoned chicken. But still a good base with potential when additions are made.

I think this sounds like a good base. I modified this a bit and it turned out well. I used a roasted red pepper Alfredo sauce (in a jar with the regular pasta sauces), added 2 jars of roasted red peppers (drained), added sauteed garlic and onion. I think the added flavors made the dish quite tasty (though still very mild) without being too bland.

This was an excellent recipe. I did not have ricotta cheese so I substituted cottage cheese and also added approx 1/2 cup pizzeria cheese to the cottage cheese and parmesan cheese mixture. Opps, I also forgot the egg. I could have added a little more salt to the pasta as I cooked them. I may add some pepper when I make my next batch.

Here are the changes I made to make this a very easy and delicious meal... I only used one 15 oz jar of roasted garlic Alfredo sauce (I bought two but started with one and it looked like it would be enough...it was!). I also only used half of the ricotta and only one egg. I used light ricotta and light sour cream- I was trying to make this a "lighter" calorie dish. I would have used light Alfredo sauce but that particular brand wasn't on sale :) The one thing I added that made the biggest difference was adding about two to three tablespoons of pesto. I also used a full bag of mozzarella cheese and probably used more Parmesan than called for because I really love Parmesan cheese! I also cooked my pasta the night before while I was cooking dinner for that night. When I got home the next day I was able to just put it all together and pop it in the oven. Serve with a nice salad and you've got a meal just as good as Olive Garden but cheaper and slightly healthier!

This is the best mac and cheese I ever had. It is kid friendly and kid approved. Great dish to take to a dinner party. This has become my go to dish.

A little bland. My son thought that it had too much cheese which most likely would have been too much ricotta. Has potential.

This was pretty bland, even though I added roasted chicken breast and hot Italian sausage. It is a good base, but next time I'll play around with a lot of spices to make it more flavorful. Very easy recipe to put together.

I followed the recipe exactly, and this dish got rave reviews from young and old as part of Easter dinner. It was a great complement to the rest of the "Laid Back Easter Menu", and it was such a time-saver being able to prepare it a day ahead and just pop it in the oven on Easter Sunday. I will definitely make this again! Great as a leftover, too.

Do you like the chicken fetucinne alfredo from Fazolis... I use this recipe but I use feta cheese instead of ricotta cheese cause I can never find it and the Parsley wasnt fresh but from the little dried container.. I of course used boneless chicken breasts in small pieces and fried it with some italian seasoning.. added it to alfredo mixture before adding the ziti noodles. This is one of my new favorites!

This was so good. All I make is the traditional macaroni and cheese and then I came across this recipe and I decided to give it a try. Glad I did, it was very good. The only thing I will do next time is add a little salt, I felt that it was a little bland.

I usually make half the recipe. Can use any pasta type. I use non fat greek plain yogurt instead of sour cream (less fat, more protein, same taste), light cottage cheese in place of ricotta and light Alfredo sauce. The cheese on top can be any type of white cheese - pepper jack is really good! Easy recipe and a crowd pleaser.

I was looking for a recipe of our favorite dish Pepperoni Spinach Alfredo from Strings Italian Café in Las Vegas. I wanted to make it as a bake though so I used this recipe and added a few more ingredients. I wanted to add vegetables to make more healthy. -Baby Bella mushrooms -clove garlic -1c chopped pepperoni -2c spinach -1/2c onion -1c red pepper Even with the spinach & mushrooms, I bet kids would love it.

It was really easy to make and I actually added some diced up chicken breast. My husband thinks it would be better if I added mushrooms, bacon, garlic, and use ham instead of chicken.
