This is truly fantastic - way beyond what I expected. I think the goat cheese cheese is what sets it apart from similar casserole recipes. We also used hot Italian turkey sausage instead of sweet, which probably kicked up the flavor a bit. The leftovers were great, too.

I thought this was good. I was disappointed a little with the results a little after reading such raving reviews. I added chopped onion, and extra tomatoes. I didn't taste the goat cheese too much, but it did add some creaminess. My husband loved this dish. I'll make it again, but might add more veggies, spices.

I thought this was delicious! I agree the goat cheese really gave it a nice touch.I also decreased the amount of red pepper by half. I doubled the whole recipe b/c that would not feed my whole family. I also omitted the green pepper (not a fan) and left out the tomatoes. I also used hot turkey sausage.

Based upon the other reviewers, I expected this to be pretty darn outstanding. It didn't quite meet my expectations, but it was defintely a good, solid dish worthy of putting into the rotation (with a few changes!) Next time I will cut out 1/2 c of pasta (there was too much-- my saucy mixture was struggling to cover!) I'll use two 8 oz cans of sauce (I used no-salt added and the dish didn't miss the extra salt at all). I dbl'd the amount of Italian spice since my can of sauce was just plain tomato. Also, I used dbl the amount of cherry tomatoes and next time I'll use the whole container. I think the goat cheese is a must-- it's what lends the dish its distinct flavor and creamy texture. The red pepper is quite strong- I reduced by half. Lastly, once all mixed, it wouldn't fit in the 8x8, I had to pour into my 13x9 baker. Overall, a tasty dish and will make again.

This is a very easy, tasty, comfort dish! I made it for my husband and myself, and made it again to bring to a friend. I served it with a mixed-greens salad.

My husband loves this one - I do too! I omitted the goat cheese (we're not fans), added onion in with the green pepper. The teaspoon of red pepper gives it a bit of a kick. Reduce the amount if you want less heat.

I loved this! I made it for my boyfriend and he gobbled it up as well. It was a little on the spicy side but still tasted super delicious.

This was a great recipe! I think it tasted a lot like pizza which is my favorite food :) I agree that it was a bit spicy and I'd reduce the red pepper next time since my boyfriend isn't the biggest fan of spicy foods. It's quick, easy and great for a weeknight meal with a Caesar salad.

I couldn't get enough of this dish. The goat cheese definitely makes this for me. My husband is lactose intolerant, so I double it and leave the goat cheese out of his half. My 2 year old liked it, too.

This is one of my favorite pasta recipes. I only used half of the goat cheese since it was expensive and used 1/4 cup cheddar cheese instead. This is very good leftover too.

This is on my CL all-star list, I've made it at least a dozen times since it came out in 2008. I've even made it with chicken sausage (although the turkey sausage is my favorite). It works well for a big crowd - the goat cheese makes it taste luxurious but the ingredients are actually pretty inexpensive. If you're going to serve more than 6, you definitely need to double. It can be made in advance - just put everything in the dish, cover with plastic wrap, and bake before the meal! Allot a little more time to bake as everything will be cold so it will take longer to warm up.

I used slightly more red pepper flakes and a can of whole peeled tomato because that is what I had on hand and it was amazing. Next time I host people this will be what I serve!

Nice homey meal and easy to throw together. I used 1/2 green bell, 1/2 anaheim pepper as well as chopping up a small hot pepper and about 1/3 cup onion. I also increased the goat cheese to three ounces. I do agree with others that it's a bit dry. Next time, I would add another 1/2 cup of sauce, at least.

My husband and I love this recipe. We like it with the goat cheese, but I have subsituted feta cheese for dinner parties when someone isnt a fan. Easy week night meal!

This has a nice combination of ingredients but is not anything studpendous. Just, a "good, solid, recipe".

This is an awsome easy dish that everyone enjoys. I take this to potlucks and it is always a hit with the group. I have used different cheeses to change things up a bit but it is always tasty.
