Country-Style-3-Bean Salad

Ingredients
- 1 (14 1/2-oz.) can green beans, drained
- 1 (14 1/2-oz.) can yellow wax beans, drained
- 1 (15 1/2-oz.) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
Preparation
- Toss beans and onion together in a large bowl; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir until sugar dissolves; pour over bean mixture. Cover and chill overnight.
