Ingredients
- 3/4 cup(s) Sugar
- 2 tablespoon(s) Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) Cloves
- 2 Eggs Lightly beaten
- 2 Regular Pie shells
- 1 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) Ground ginger
- 2 cup(s) Pure pumpkin
- 12 oz can(s) Can evaporated milk
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 425. Combine the sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger, and cloves in a bowl and mix well. Set aside. Combine the pumpkin and eggs in a bowl and mix well. Add to the sugar mixture and mix well. Add the evaporated milk gradually, stirring constantly. Pour into the pie shell. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the oven temp to 350. Bake for another 35-40 minutes or until the pie test is done.
