The combination of the slaw and beef was absolutely amazing. I did marinate my steak for 3 hours. That was the only change I had made. My young children even liked the flavor combinations. I will make this again.

I made these tonight and Wow! They are amazing. I thought the marinade was a bit dry so I added about 1/4 c. of pineapple-orange juice to it. I also used a boneless sirloin because that's what I had on hand. The slaw is what really made the dish pop. I think the slaw will be good on it's own. I will certainly be making this again soon and also may make the slaw by itself.

I really liked the combo of the slaw and the slightly fiery meat. I just used regular tortillas instead of fat-free because that's what I had on hand. I also omitted the cilantro because I don't like it. Other than that I stuck to the recipe and I will make this again.

I made the beef only, and made them into kabobs with red bell pepper, which turned out great. I used tenderloin because I had it on hand. It made for a super quick meal, and I will be making it again. I served this with couscous and melon proscuitto salad.

Both my husband and I loooooved this dish! Served with a fruit salad and both agreed it was plenty of food to fill us up! I agree with other reviewers that the steak could marinate longer...didn't find it tough, but did find it lacked a bit of flavor. I would also boost up the chili sauce (but I love spice). Other options would be to use broccoli slaw in place of shredded cabbage. Also think that next time I might add julienned red pepper strips. Also, took steak from frig to oven without allowing enough time to come to room temp. (silly mistake, but we were hungry)! This definitely made a rare steak (which husband and I love, but may not be for everyone). Overall, will definitely make again and again!

Brilliant flavors. Perfect for summer BBQ weather. I will double the meat next time so I can stuff the tacos to the brim. Won't double the slaw as there was plenty left to go around. So good.

Our family loved this. Nice change from regular tacos. We thought the slaw was great and would be good with other things as well, like fish. Will make this again and again.

Bright fresh flavors, we loved this dish. I agree with other posters that the marinade was a bit dry so I added the juice of 1 lime as well. I served this as tacos but you could easily cut down on the carbs by serving the meat on the slaw as a salad.

Excellent recipe! Great tastes. I loved the combination of lime juice, fish sauce and cilantro along with the flank steak.

One of the best meals I've ever made. Fresh and just a little spicy, with a beautiful balance of textures, colours and flavours. The only changes I made were to use pot roast chunks that I broiled then sliced (they were on sale) a little RealLemon with the lime, (my limes weren't as juicy as I thought they'd be), I omitted the green onions (forgot them) and added about a tablespoon of coconut oil to the slaw. Can't wait to test this out on the boyfriend =)

Every time I ask my husband for "requests" for the weekly menu, he says "THAI TACOS" before I even finish my sentence. I put the steak in the marinade in the morning and keep it in the fridge all day. I also make the slaw in the morning because it is so yummy when it has had a chance to meld all day. The slaw will seem "dry" when you first make it but it will create its own moisture as it sits in the fridge covered all day. I have made this recipe about a dozen times in the last two years and it never disappoints.

Great flavor! Prepared earlier in the day to let flavors come together more. Served with steamed edamame. Will definitely make again.
