Very good summer supper. Made to recipe except subbed NY strip (because it was on sale) and regular cuke, seeded. Composed the salad rather than tossed. Recommend you go light (or half) on the lime dressing drizzle, in case it's too strong for some, and place the rest on the table for those who want the full measure.

This recipe was really good but it was a little too hot for me. The chile paste I got was very potent...Although I loved it, I could hardly handle it. I added a little extra lime juice to the dressing to cool it off a bit. The meat cooked perfectly in the broiler and was really tastey b/c of the marinade. I also really loved the mint in this salad...made it taste really fresh.

This one definitely goes on my make again and serve to company list. Absolutely delicious, but I have to admit I made a couple of changes because of what I didn't have in the house. Substituted Maggi mild sweet chili sauce for the chili paste and Vidalia onion for the red onion, skirt steak for the flank steak and marinated it for at least an hour. Forgot to reserve one half of the sauce for the salad, so don't forget that if you're going to make this. HIGHLY recommended!

I have made this salad.. and the dish is minblowing. The balance of the flavours are excellent .This can be an appropriate special occassion dish. I added 1tsp of roasted and ground cumin to the marinade. This small addition takes the dish to another level !!

Staple recipe in our house. Great fresh summer salad - perfect on a hot day. I serve this with coconut rice and a side of fresh mango. Delish!

Great dinner! Left meat to marinate for 3 hours and it was very flavorful! I found the 5 min broil on each side was a quite rare in the center- so it had to go back in, and the tomato/onion was in the skillet a little long, but overall GREAT taste! very flavorful!!

Simply Perfect and Delicious! Make this tonight and lick your plate clean! I made the coconut rice with it. Yummy too. This will make regular rotation on my table.

I did the recipe except I cooked the beef as a stir fry with broccoli flowerettes and red onion then served the whole mess over rice. Adding the reserved sauce over the top was WONDERFUL. Rave reviews from my family.

I loved this recipe and so did my husband. We have been trying to eat lighter and this recipe helps--it is just delicious and easy after work.

Delicious and simple! My husband LOVED this! Filling enough to serve as a main dish! I only put one Tablespoon of chili paste and it had a nice kick. Super fresh and flavorful dish!

Not that great. First of all the meat needs to marinate a lot longer. I recommend arranging the components on a plate rather than tossing them. The warm tomatoes and onions cooled right down when added to the lettuce. Needs a lot more cilantro too. The dressing was good. Probably won't make this again.

This is a regular meal at my house. I follow it pretty much except for I add Housin instead of brown sugar because my boyfriend says he doesn't like brown sugar. Also I add siracha hot sauce to give it more of a kick. I serve it with jasmine rice. Delicious and a quick and easy meal.

All great ingredients so will have to try this; however, the first sentence of "budget friendly flank steak" is pretty inaccurate. Flank Steak has not been 'budget friendly' for years-at least in the Seattle/Everett area-unless you consider $5.99 for the "value pack" (3 lbs. or more) 'budget friendly'.

Liked this a lot. I did marinate the beef for several hour and added a red pepper to the onion and tomato. The dressing is very good. Also good the next day cold.

I like this recipe. I've made this twice and both times my family liked this dish. There are a lot of flavors and aromas going on in this dish and the first bite is a delight. This is something I will probably make every 2 or 3 months. I added rice noodles to this dish to make the dish more filling and the salad dressing mixed with the rice noodles is really good.
