  • 2 (6-ounce) cans evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 6 cups finely shredded cabbage

How to Make It

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients; mix well. Gradually add vinegar, stirring constantly; cover, and chill at least 1 hour.

  2. Pour dressing over cabbage; mix well. Cover, and chill at least 1 hour.
