Texas Basting Sauce

Yield 3 1/2 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup dried parsley flakes
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons catsup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make It

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan; cook, uncovered, over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Keep sauce warm while basting pork.
