I was not that crazy about this recipe. The flavor was OK, but the shrimp were very dry. The marinade would be better with the addition of some oil, plus they wouldn't stick to the grill!

I made this dish as it appears and was disappointed because it was dry. I made it a second time and put the entire contents of the dish that had marinated in a large sautee pan and cooked the shrimp through, let it cool and put in refrigerator over night and put on platter and let it go to room temp. It was a hit. It is a regular for all my parties.

Made these for a party, but did not want to do it at the last minute or have to thread everything on skewers, so i took another reviewers advice and made the shrimp in a pan on the stove. but i still grilled the peppers & fruit. then i combined everything overnight in the fridge and served it in a dish over ice so it would stay cold. I used red pepper flakes instead of jalepeno, and added bay leaves. Got a lot of comments on how tasty it was!
