- 12 ears fresh corn, cleaned and kernels scraped from cob
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
How to Make It
Combine corn and water in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 20 minutes; stir frequently.
