- 225g cold butter
- 100g caster sugar
- 350g plain flour
- 1 pinch(s) salt
- 1 juice and zest of orange optional
- rub butter into flour add salt caster sugar, rub in in untill it looks like crumbs,use knife to make dough ball place in cooler for 30 mins then use when ready to make pies.best thickness for rolled pastry is 1 to 2 mm. care must be taken when rolling out the pastry.use orange juice or a little water to help bind together enjoyx
