Tangy Barbecue Sauce

Yield 1 quart

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup spicy honey mustard
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make It

  1. Bring all ingredients to a boil in a Dutch oven; reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes. Store sauce in refrigerator up to 1 month.
