    Wonderful way to use fresh swiss chard. Did not change the recipe at all and it was very good.

    We slow-cooked the onions in advance til translucent and sweet. To avoid overcooking the chard, used tip from another CL recipe: cook the chopped stems for 5 min in salted boiling water; lift into ice bath, drain and then sauté with the torn leaves. Served with grilled steak & riced potato. Worcestershire in the chard made a good subtle pairing with the beef.

    This was my first time eating Swiss Chard and it was sooooo tasty! This recipe was quick and easy, much like cooking spinach. Too bad Swiss Chard is $3.99 a bunch in my area...that seems pretty steep for a veggie.
