Yield Makes about 20 pieces

  • 1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 Bosc or Bartlett pear

How to Make It

  1. Heat 1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts in a small nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, stirring often, 2 to 3 minutes or until toasted. Cut 1 Bosc or Bartlett pear into about 20 equal slices. Stir together 3 (3/4-oz.) wedges Swiss spreadable cheese. Spread bottom half of 1 side of each pear slice evenly with cheese. Sprinkle with walnuts.
