I have made these for several years and they are always a hit! People think I have gone to a lot of trouble to make them, but they are so easy. They only thing I do differently is use my own pie dough. It is better than refrigerated.

Very easy and pretty! Also VERY GOOD! Will be a keeper to make again. Also made some with mini chocolate chips in the cream cheese filling, left off the strawberry jam, and drizzed both melted dark chocolate and white chocolate on top. Yummy and look like they came from a bakery!

These are nice little treats-- great for a kids Valentine's Day party. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make them look as cute as they do in the photo (I cook often, but my talents do not lie in cutesy baked goods-- a food stylist, I am not), but they are pretty clutz-proof so they looked nice. The recipe is very easy to follow, but a bit time consuming to assemble. It would be a good project do with kids old enough to wield a butter knife.
