Ingredients

  • 10 pound(s) Sweet potatoes
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 cup(s) Brown sugar
  • 4 stick(s) Butter
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Walnuts Chopped

Preparation

  1. 1. Peel sweet potatoes & cut into large cubes
  2. 2. Place sweet potatoes in large stock pot & cover with water
  3. 3. Add salt to taste
  4. 4. Cover & cook until fork tender
  5. 5. Drain water
  6. 6. Add butter, brown sugar & chopped walnuts
  7. 7. Season with pepper, cinnamon & nutmeg to taste
  8. 8. Use mixer to whip sweet potatoes until creamy smooth
  9. 9. Taste & add any additional seasonings to taste
