Sweet Herb Butter

Yield 3/4 to 1 cup.


  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh lemon balm or lemon verbena
  • 1 tablespoon strawberry jam or marmalade
  • Grated zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon brandy (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons toasted almonds or pecans

How to Make It

  1. To make the butter, combine all ingredients in a bowl; mix well. Chill thoroughly. Package in an airtight container.
