  • 2 cups temmed, pitted fresh cherries
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch


  1. Cook 2 cups stemmed, pitted fresh cherries, 3 Tbsp. sugar, 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter, 1 Tbsp. water and 2 tsp. cornstarch in a saucepan over medium heat until boiling; stir occasionally. Reduce heat; simmer for about 3 minutes.
