Sweet and Sharp Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 pound(s) carrots
  • 1/4 cup(s) water
  • 1 tablespoon(s) sugar
  • 1 pinch(s) salt
  • 1 tablespoon(s) balsamic vinegar

Preparation

Place the carrots, water butter sugar and salt in large saucepan, Cover and bring to a boil. Recice heat and simmer until carrots are tender and the water evapporates, about 10 minutes. If any water remains, uncover and cook until carrots are dry, about 2 minutes. Remove from heaat. Add the vinegar and toss.
