Summertime Ophelia Cocktail

Ingredients
- Rosemary Syrup
- 0.5 cup(s) water
- 0.5 cup(s) sugar
- 0.25 cup(s) ground fresh rosemary leaves
- Ophelia Cocktail
- 1.5 ounce(s) Tanqueray
- 0.75 ounce(s) rosemary syrup
- 0.75 ounce(s) fresh lemon juice
- club soda
- crushed ice
- rosemary sprig
- chilled 12oz (Double Old Fashioned) glass
Preparation
- For the Rosemary Syrup
- 1. Bring the water to boil
- 2. Add the sugar & stir til dissolved
- 3. Remove from heat, add the ground rosemary & stir
- 4. Steep for 45 min
- 5. Strain thru fine mesh strainer into clean lidded glass container
- 6. Refrigerate if not using immediately
- For One Cocktail
- 1. Fill a 12oz glass with crushed ice
- 2. Add Tanqueray, rosemary syrup, lemon juice & stir
- 3. Top with club soda & gently stir
- 4. Garnish with rosemary sprig & serve
