Ingredients
- 1 pound carrots, scraped and cut into 1/8-inch-thick diagonal slices
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon light stick butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Preparation
- Steam carrot, covered, 6 minutes or until crisp-tender. Transfer to a serving bowl, and keep warm.
- Combine brown sugar and remaining 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Drizzle over carrot; toss well.
