Ingredients
- 2 1/3 cups instant nonfat dry milk
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- Miniature marshmallows (optional)
- Sugar-free candy canes (optional)
Preparation
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Store in an airtight container.
- To serve, spoon 1/4 cup cocoa mix into each mug. Add 1 cup boiling water, and stir well. Top with miniature marshmallows or sugar-free candy canes, if desired (marshmallows and candy canes not included in analysis).
- Tip: If you're not a milk drinker, hot cocoa is a great way to add calcium to your diet. One serving of this sugar-free cocoa has 166 milligrams of calcium. Most adults need 1,000 milligrams per day.
