Ingredients
- 2 cup(s) white sugar
- 1 cup(s) shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup(s) buttermilk
- 5 cup(s) flour triple shifted
- 3 baking powder heaping tsp or tsb
- 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda tsp or tsb
- 1 tablespoon(s) vanilla
Preparation
- Mix by hand
- Put baking soda in part of milk
- Fold in other ingredients
- Bake at 350 degrees for 7 min
- Makes about 75
