- 6 medium-size cooking apples, peeled and cored
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons prepared mincemeat, divided
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
- 1 cup boiling water
- Lemon Hard Sauce
How to Make It
Place apples in a 9-inch square baking pan. Stuff each apple with 1 tablespoon mincemeat. Sprinkle each apple with 1 tablespoon sugar. Pour boiling water in bottom of pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until apples are tender. Place apples in individual serving bowls, and serve hot with Lemon Hard Sauce.
