1. Heat the 3 teaspoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
2. Cook to the desired done-ness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare. Transfer to a cutting board, cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
