Streusel Topping

This Streusel Topping gets its crunch from sliced almonds.

  • Yield: Makes 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 5 tablespoons chilled butter, cut into pieces
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds

Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl; cut in butter with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in almonds.
