Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

How to Make It

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients; cut in butter and cheese with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle over apples in pastry shell.
