Strawberry Shortcake

Yield 12 servings


  • 2 quarts fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • Sweet Biscuits
  • 2 cups whipping cream, whipped

How to Make It

  1. Combine sliced strawberries and sugar; stir well. Let stand at least 30 minutes, allowing sugar to dissolve.

  2. Split Sweet Biscuits in half, placing bottom halves on serving plates. Spoon half of strawberries evenly over biscuits, and replace tops. Spoon remaining strawberries evenly over tops; dollop with whipped cream. Serve immediately.
