Used 1 32-oz box and 1/2 of another 32-o box of strawberries. Tossed with 32 oz sugar (Delia Smith recipe), macerated overnight, let all the sugar meld in. Next night, added lemon zest and juice of 1/2 lemon and cooked till syruppy.

- 1/2 lemons juiced and zested
