    This is a great cocktail recipe--wonderful flavor with fresh fruit instead of a lot of processed sugar. I used frozen strawberries, which I would recommend since they are a lot less expensive and they improve the frozen consistency of the drink. To balance the frozen fruit, I used less ice and added a bit of seltzer water to get the right consistency. I can't imagine feeling the need to add extra sugar, and I would not suggest following some of the other suggestions about adding margarita mix, ice cream, or whipped cream if you're interested in keeping the calorie count down.

    I really enjoyed this recipe by myself and am making it again today for a party. I followed LaurenT30's suggestion of using frozen strawberries and it was absolutely heavenly! I did not use seltzer water but I did add about a 1/4 cup of water. This is a recipe to keep in the "permanent" file! :o)

    This recipe is perfect as is! It has been a huge hit at 2 parties so far! Definitely a keeper!
