Followed the instructions exactly, except used Splenda instead of sugar. I received rave reviews, even from the 'non-dessert-eaters'. Will definitely become a regular. Great for company.

I have made this several times. The first time I made it as directed and the other times I made it as a trifle. I definitely like the trifle option better. The taste is the same, of course, but the presentation is better and it comes together faster and easier. Everybody that tries this LOVES it. I highly recommend it!

This cake is amazing! Every time I make it people devour it. I doubled the recipe and made it as a sheet cake for a large party...not one piece was left. Amazing!!!!

A great recipe that will become a tried and true. I've made it two times in the past month - once for family and once for friends. The first time, I used orange juice and added some blackberries on top with the strawberries. The second time, I used Amaretto instead of the oj and it was even better. :) I also mixed a little of the cool whip in with the cream cheese mixture. Other than that, no other modifications to this easy breezy dessert that is now in my favorites list!

Nice way to dress up a store bought angel food cake; looked and tasted wonderful. Next time I will mix the juice left from the strawberry sugar mixture with the liqueur or o.j. before brushing on the cake. This is a great, quick dessert.
