This is a fun dessert. I think I would actually cut back on the sugar in the glaze--I found the tart a bit too sweet. I don't have a tart pan so I just made it in a glass pie dish and it turned out great. Looks very impressive, too!

This was a hit with the entire family. I used soy cream cheese because of dairy intolerance and double the amount of almonds. It was a great light tart and we will definitely make it again.

This was really good except the vanilla and almond extracts were overwhelming and fake tasting, and I would leave those out next time. The crust was great, the strawberry glaze was great, I halved the amounts for the glaze (so there would be no leftovers) with no problems. My crust took 8 minutes. I made the tart in a pie pan and the slices came out clean and easy.

This is an awesome recipe and well worth the multiple steps. My guests were totally impressed with the presentation as well as the taste. I substituted 2 teaspoons of Amaretta for the almond extract.

I made this for my Cooking Light Group and it was a huge hit and have it twice since by the ladies that attended. Absolutely worthy of entertaining! No changes necessary.

This was really refreshing and yummy. I would recommend more of the cream cheese layer though, and add whipped cream to the top. VERY tasty!

I was a wonderful dessert. I made these changes: 1) I substituted cinnamon graham crackers for regular and omitted the sugar in the crust. 2) I used 2 t amaretto instead of the almond extract.

Very good, and active time including cleanup was under an hour. I think you could cut back on the sugar a bit. Also, I noticed the recipe calls you to make twice as much strawberry glaze as necessary, which was strange.

I only got a small taste. It was gone in less than 5 minutes. I had 3 quarts of the top of the season berries and selected the best medium size ones for the top. Made changes as suggested in other reviews (cinnamon crackers, no sugar; 8 oz cream cheese and 3 tsp amaretto; 1/2 glaze recipe. serve with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream for tour 27th 4th of July party.

I make this dessert every year for Easter. It is fantastic!! It's pretty and everyone loves it. I make it exactly as written. Updated review I made this with soy cream cheese due to a dairy allergy and it is still outstanding. It really tasted the same as the one made with real cream cheese. So now I make one of each kind for Easter.
