Strawberries with Crunchy Almond Topping

This easy but stylish dessert is best made early in the day to let the strawberries macerate in the sweetened almond liqueur.

Yield: 6 servings (serving size: 1/2 cup strawberries, 1 crushed cookie, and 1 tablespoon sour cream)

Ingredients

  • 6 cups sliced strawberries

Preparation

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl. Cover and chill 4 to 8 hours. Spoon into individual dessert dishes. Sprinkle with crushed cookies; top with sour cream.
