- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon buttermilk
- 1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled
How to Make It
Combine cream and buttermilk in a mixing bowl; cover and let stand at room temperature overnight. Chill.
Scrape thickened cream into a filter paper-lined strainer. Drain; discard liquid. Chill remaining crème fraîche. Serve as a dip with fresh strawberries.
