Strawberries With Crème Fraiche

Yield 3/4 cup


  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon buttermilk
  • 1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled

How to Make It

  1. Combine cream and buttermilk in a mixing bowl; cover and let stand at room temperature overnight. Chill.

  2. Scrape thickened cream into a filter paper-lined strainer. Drain; discard liquid. Chill remaining crème fraîche. Serve as a dip with fresh strawberries.
