this is delicious! The recipe is perfect for 3 guests; I decrease the amount of sugars in the strawberry sauce to 2 Tbsp of each granulated sugar and brown sugar and it is still very good; I also decrease the sour cream to 3/4 cup (and you can use plain yogurt as a substitution if desired)

Yum! A great recipe with lots of flavor. The cake flour made the pancakes very light. I used lemon zest instead of orange zest.

This recipe has lingered in our minds for days after we ate it. It's just that good. If you like strawberries, you owe it to yourself on a rainy Sunday morning to prepare these pancakes and then savor them slowly. But don't fix it for guests. They will hate you forever because they can't one-up you. Only one 16-oz. box of strawberries is required and I added some extra orange zest (about 2 teaspoons) that was left over from zesting for the pancake mix. If there was a Six Star Plus rating, I would give it to this dish. Thank you, Southern Living!
