Stir-fried Asparagus With Garlic

Use lite soy sauce for a lower-sodium option. If your skillet doesn't have a lid, cover it with a baking sheet.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds asparagus
  • 8 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

Preparation

  1. Snap tough ends off asparagus; discard ends. Cut asparagus in half.
  2. Sauté asparagus and garlic in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 5 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender. Add soy sauce; reduce heat to medium low, and cover. Cook 5 minutes or until asparagus is tender.
