Steamed Sugar Snap Peas
- 4 cups sugar snap peas, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Garnish: fresh flowers
- Arrange peas in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Toss with butter, salt, and pepper. Garnish, if desired. Remove flowers before serving.
